No. Care Cura provides non-medical home care, so CNA certification is not required. You do need to be registered or eligible to register as a California Home Care Aide (HCA). The HCA registration process is straightforward and we can guide you through it if you are not already registered.

Shifts vary by client. A typical shift might involve helping a client get ready in the morning, preparing a meal, assisting with light housekeeping, providing companionship, and helping with medication reminders. Some clients also need transportation to appointments. Shifts range from 3 hours to 8 hours depending on the care plan.

Care Cura uses Mira, our own workforce management app. You clock in and out from your phone at the client's location. Your schedule, client details, and care notes are all in the app. No paper timesheets and no confusion about hours worked.

Care Cura serves Tracy and surrounding cities including Manteca, Lathrop, Mountain House, Stockton, Modesto, Livermore, Pleasanton, Dublin, Brentwood, and Antioch. Most clients are within a reasonable driving distance of Tracy.

Once your background check clears and HCA registration is confirmed, we can typically place you with a client within one to two weeks. The process moves as fast as you do.
